☆ Bodyline -- Haul + Review!

Hello everyone~!! Today, I will be showing you my haul and reviewing Bodyline!

As many of you probably know, Bodyline is a Lolita shop that is cheaper than brand and great for beginner Lolitas, people who are trying the style, or people who don't want to spend/can't afford brand. Their quality is hit or miss, but I hear they are improving! They also sell cosplay, maid outfits, seifukus, punk-ish style clothing, shoes, and a bunch of other things!

If you want more help with ordering, I'd recommend you comment or contact me in some way as stated at the end of my post, or check out Princess Peachie's great video on Bodyline!

This will be my first order from them, so I have no past experience with them personally, but I have known of them for a long time and I have planned on ordering from them but never got around to it. Finally, around one in the morning, I made up my mind and got to ordering~!

I placed my order on Saturday, September 13th. Within seconds of my payment, I got an email from PayPal telling me that my payment went through, along with an email from Bodyline, which was basically a receipt of my order. It was worded very kindly! It also said that within three days, my order would be shipped and on the nearest business day, I would get the tracking information!

On Monday, September 15th around six in the morning, I got the tracking information for my package! The email said my package was shipped and also gave me tracking information.

Honestly, the tracking number didn't work for a while. But after checking at least twice every day, the number started working and I was filled with relief as I discovered my package was currently okay.

A thing I have discovered with the tracking number is to take it and copy and past it to USPS's tracking information, rather than the website Bodyline sends you. I prefer it because I can get text notifications every time there is an update on my package, or email if you want that rather than text, and it's updated more frequently.

I got my package in the mail on October 3rd. I wasn't in a rush to get it, plus, let's face it: I'm cheap. Since they did have a sale going on, I took advantage of it! I mean, free shipping and discounted prices?! Count me in!

Let me start with the items I bought!

I bought a jumper skirt, a pair of shoes, and a pair of bloomers! The JSK was ordered in black along with the shoes for a twin coord with a friend, and I was in need of a new pair of bloomers, so I got those in white!

My package arrived and packed nicely!

The shoes came with a box, which I honestly was not expecting, and the JSK came in its own nice Bodyline bag, and the bloomers came in a plain plastic bag. Both the bloomers and JSK had Bodyline tags on them, and both came with removable bows! The shoes also came in the box wrapped in tissue paper, with some in the inside of the shoes like if you were to buy directly from a shoe store. I liked it a lot!

Ordering from Bodyline was a bit scary. I heard their quality comes and goes, but either I got extremely lucky with this, or their quality is far nicer than I imagined.

Here are the shoes I ordered!
They smelled like leather and it was glorious.
The little buckles that fastens your shoes even have snaps on them, so you can take them off so it is easier to close the shoes, then snap them back! I loved that.
I was really worried about ordering these. The sizes were strange, and I was afraid to measure my feet. So after I measured my feet, I looked up a size conversion chart. I put the size I had thought to get in my cart, and prayed and checked out.
When these came in the mail, I was a bit confused on how to put them on. I compared my foot to the shoe, and I got worried they were too small. But, lucky enough, they were a perfect fit! I love how they look, and they felt really nice wearing, so I'll probably be ordering more shoes from Bodyline. At least after I wear these a day out and test how comfortable they are. I feel they'd be as comfortable as just any heels, though. I'll try and put an update on those!

These bloomers tho.
The bloomers had a pin on the bow, and did not come with the bow in it. I could see why, because it could rip the fabric in the bloomers or something of the like. Just let the customer ruin them by accident. Bodyline knows what's up.
They were a bit weird with my legs. That's probably because I'm so used to boxers, not bloomers, so I'm not used to the elastic on the thighs. I'll learn to get used to them.
These had a shirred waistband and cuffs on the leg holes to fit your size. I think I just need to break them in so they're more comfy.
They were a cotton-y material, which I liked. The ruffles were cotton, and the lace wasn't scratchy, so I could imagine wearing this under a dress and petticoat all day and being comfortable.
I didn't see any faults in the production of these, and they seem pretty sturdy and well put together!

 Here is the jumperskirt!
Call me stupid all you want, I didn't notice there was a zipper on the dress until after I pulled it over my head. Clumsy me. It was installed on the size of the bodice and dress.
There is a panel of shirring in the back, along with corset laces. The waist ties can't be removed, but I don't feel that will be much of a problem.
Like the bloomers, the bow was a pin. You get the  jist of it.
The skirt is gathered, so it looks best with a bell shaped petticoat.
The material of the JSK was a cotton-y material. The skirt felt a bit thin compared to my other JSK from an indie brand, but it didn't bother me too much. The waist ties seemed a bit thicker, so it might give me a hard time while tying, but it probably has a lesser chance of tearing in the time I wear it. The lace wasn't itchy, and the ruffles feel and look like a chiffon-type material. I like it a lot!
Personally, I'm more of a sweet-Lolita person, but the print on this seemed to suit my taste more, and the pink details made me like it a bit more than I thought I would!

My ratings!

Comfort: 4.5/5
Shipping: 4.5/5
Price: 5/5
Look: 4.5/5
Quality: 4/5
Customer Service: N/A
Overall: 4.5/5

I didn't need much customer service in this.
The shipping is a 4.5, mainly because it took a bit longer than I assumed it would. I wasn't personally bothered by it, but I am pretty sure I could have gotten it faster. Then again, I paid nothing for shipping.

My thoughts!

Bodyline is known for cheaper Lolita things. I love the shoes they have (though they need to restock them! I want to buy ALL OF THE SHOES...), and they have a large selection of very decently priced items for people who don't want to or can't afford otherwise.
I'll for sure be ordering from them again. I already have a list set up for things of clothes and cosplay stuff I want to buy from there once I sell some old things.
